Below is the well known Edo era print called Rabbit pounding rice with mortar by Hokugen. It inspired my sketch below that I sent to David.

Birthday gift for my husband. A portrait of our cats Misumi and Yamashi. Lol they held that pose for about 1 second. I just happened to take the picture at the perfect time.

Trompe L'oiel

This was a commission for Rue Royale when I worked as part of a team with Ivan Industries. Rue Royale was/is in the Chicago Bloomingdale's.
